I sequestered Rodney Mullen recently during a dinner party at my house in order to get the real story behind the kickflip. The only quiet place was my bedroom. Is that weird? Only if you make it weird. Which I might have just done by mentioning it at all. Anyway, he invented the kickflip because he's a genius and we are lucky to have him. Now I made it extra weird.
