Atlantic Drift is back and this time it's San Francisco

Atlantic Drift crew hit San Francisco

The long-awaited latest installment of one the best video series in modern skate culture is finally here, and sees Jacob Harris and the ever-growing Altlantic Drift crew over in Thrasher Magazine’s home city of SF.
Clocking in at just over seven minutes, and with a full complement of the core Atlantic Drift heads on hand to attack the iconic hills and spots of SF, plus the addition of Kyron Davies, Brian Delatorre and an unexpected cameo from Corey Duffel – this will hit all the right buttons for Atlantic Drift’s hordes of fans across the globe.

In an era where throwaway content is king, Jacob has once again managed to feed the Internet monster whilst retaining the atmosphere and unique vibe that his camera work and editing style brings to the table. With the likes Of Mike Arnold, Nick Jensen, Remy Taveira, Casper Brooker, Tom Knox, Chris Jones and Sylvain Tognelli – plus the cameos from the newer members and guests mentioned above – this is a lesson in how to create video content that has both undeniable skateboarding and an inimitable feel in one of the most heavily documented city in skate history, that also manages to seamlessly sit alongside the previous five episodes.

I can’t think of any other online video series that has spawned its own clothing line, or that is so highly anticipated by skateboarders across the world, so, without further ado – if you haven’t seen it already (which you should have), here’s your reminder the enter the jellyfish zone and get hyped.

If we had to complain about anything it would be the lightness of the Chris Jones and Mike Arnold footage but, given that Chris is just about to drop a full part this week, and that Mike, despite not having much footage, still manages to do possibly the best trick ever on Third and Army’s infamous curved ledge – I think we can let them off.
If for some insane reason you’ve missed previous episodes of this brilliant series – you can find all of the earlier Atlantic Drift episodes here – collected together for those of you too lazy to use Google.
Big up the Drifters!
