Brixton’s Baddest X House of Vans 2018

A whole skatepark with just the crew, pizza and beer

The Brixton’s Baddest X House of Vans Lock In session sees the first footage from the new House of Vans lock in sessions, which will see various crews making the most of an empty skatepark outside of usual hours. This opening clip is a banger, seeing various friends of Stockwell Skatepark‘s nearest skater owned shop getting fuelled up on beer and pizza and getting down to business.

House of Vans is always a good session, but having it fairly empty is the only way to really appreciate its full potential and, with its location in the heart of Waterloo, that’s basically never going to happen – so these lock in sessions are a brilliant idea for a crew to get stuck into and finally test out those lines that “would probably work, if it was quieter”. No excuses left if you’re in one of these sessions, put your money where your mouth is…

Brixton’s Baddest has also partnered up with House of Vans London to curate their monthly Skate Fry Days, which sees the usual cash for tricks jams, free chicken and free beer livened up by Lizo shouting in your face with a microphone and bringing significant amounts of hype to proceedings.

Featuring Josh Jennings, Taylor Lewis, Nathan Nunes, Luis Pontez, Tom Moatti, Lizo Yako, Stef Nurding, Adam Johns, Aimée Gillingwater and Daphne Greca.

As this is being posted on the week of International Women’s Day, it’s worth directing you to Brixton’s Baddest’s equality sale – to raise awareness on gender inequality, they are offering a 20% discount on all hardware for females only between the 5th and the 11th of March 2018. Head over to their store on Stockwell Road, just opposite and up the road from the skatepark, to check out what they have!
