Theobalds Cap Co – Hysteresis (The Idlings of March)

Filmed and edited by Hold Tight Henry

Theobalds Cap Co and Henry Edwards-Wood come through with another rain dodging slice of London dopeness in ‘Hysteresis (The Idlings of March). The death throes of this winter have been longer and more over the top than Duke’s in Repo Man, leaving most of us filling our lungs with dust at dingy indoor skateparks or our livers with booze until spring offers at least some hope of vitamin d, but Henry and co have been fitting in missions wherever a small window of ‘not pissing rain’ appears. Obviously the environs of Southbank offer some respite from this but chances are that’s going to be damp half the time, so nearly three and a half minutes of steez from a selection of London’s finest was an unexpected pleasure when it dropped on the internet last week.

Press play to inject some inspiration to go out and skate something on a damp April morning, then scroll down past the post for some info on where Long Live Southbank is at with its campaign…

Featuring Jeremy Jones, Jake Bidmead, Joel Banner, Elliott Wright, David Yap, Jin Shimizu, Nelly Mayele, Cameron Gooden and many more.

“Theobalds Cap Co. & Associated cohorts present Hysteresis (The Idlings Of March depicting our recent adventures in a very cold and rainy London Town.”

Long Live Southbank are currently in the process of raising funds to restore the Undercroft to its former glory, the progress of which you can check over at www.LLSB.com (and help out with via their upcoming exhibition). LLSB’s Stu McLure has just given an in depth interview on the campaign to Looking Sideways Podcast and, outside of the edit above, Southbank based videos are still dropping thick and fast. Long Live Southbank indeed!
