Nike SB Australia presents ‘Medley’, a full length video

Sit back and enjoy having your brain melted by high levels of Antipodean stoke...

Nike SB presents their first full length video ‘Medley’, bringing half an hour of pure spot barbarism to your screens in a manner bound to have you pressing your modern desktop equivalent of a rewind button! Maybe not for Jarrad Carlin’s Alan Partridge slam at 14:05, that’s probably a ‘one watch only’ kind of thing, but definitely for the less genuinely unpleasant moments.

Australian skateboarding has always leaned towards the gnarlier end of the spectrum and this one features plenty of Zero-worthy levels of hucking, with the next generation of rippers down under clearly not getting the memo about low impact being the trend of the day. A lot of the names here are fairly unknown on these shores but, with the calibre of skating on display here, we imagine that won’t be the case for too much longer. Put the kettle on for this one, sit back and enjoy having your brain melted by high levels of Antipodean stoke, then go outside and roam the streets until your knee cartilage is hammered into puny insignificance.

Featuring Jason Rainbird, Noah Nayef, Rob Pace, Jack O’Grady, Jarrad Carlin, Sam Sutton, Hayley Wilson, Nicholas Andrewes, Dean Johnston, Corey Young, Rowan Davis, Charles Robertson, Ben Lawrie, Harry McEvoy, Riley Pavey and Raph Langslow.

Filmed by Brendan Gardoll, Geoff Campbell and Chris Middlebrook.

Edited by Geoff Campbell and Chris Middlebrook.

We’re as big a fans of Geoff Campbell’s editing as we are his skateboarding, so delve further into his videography via some select choices below;

Cunnies Box, his 2013 full length scene video.

Sack of Spuds, a short but gnarly edit for The Skateboarder’s Journal.

Sports Class – Partners in Crime, another banger for The Skateboarder’s Journal.
