Remembering Phil Shao

20 years ago we lost Phil Shao. He was tragically killed in a car accident while back on the road after rehabbing his knee from ACL surgery. Phil was a phenomenal professional skater: his kindness and stylish force influenced others worldwide. He was the guy that you'd want in the van on that next adventure in life. Phil embodied the archetype for modern day "all terrain" skating with 110% raw power - skate anything and everything. And through his impressive rise, he graduated from the University of California Berkeley with an English degree as well. Style and brains eternal, we love you Phil Shao! —Bryce Kanights
