Una recently posted a clip of her skating in a “I Love Gecs” t-shirt that reminded me that she can do no wrong.
Now, if that makes you think of the little British car insurance fucker and not the GOATED hyperpop duo then this whole mix will probably be lost on you, but I urge you to listen anyways. Una brings that hot girl, bitch I do what I want energy front and center, and damn does it feel good.
Say what you want, but hyperpop is the punkest music out right now, and wrapping it up with some Nicki, Thugger and Polachek reassures me that my generation may be doomed, but we’re also cooler than you. Millennials, suck it.
(Oh yeah, and download the mix here while you can before it expires and we forget to re-upload it.)

Starting off with Massive Attack’s “Teardrop” makes this old fart happy. Some interesting new-to-me stuff in here. Nicely done.

A horrible mix of lame pop with no depth or quality whatsoever. Clearly Jenkem agrees.

Tom’s Diner …great choice. Recall being a bit surprised, at the time, at how different her voice sounded in that context. Used to hearing Vega’s folksy stuff. But that track really brought it.
