You might also know him from his work with Del the Funky Homosapien, De La Soul, and other quintessential 90s rappers. If you don’t know him from either, I’d like a 2,000 word paper, single spaced on my desk tomorrow about why.
To celebrate his new book, “Right Before My Eyes” Jacob was kind enough to let us stomp around his home and tell us stories from his long career. Not to get sappy here at the end, but I always wished I listened to more of my grandparents stories while I still could. So shut up and listen!

I instantly think of Carroll when I hear the name Jacob Rosenberg.
Carroll is a piece of shit. He’s a whiiiiny, self absorbed awkward entitled cocksucker. He’s a child. He’s the REAL man child. He’s a dick to his fans. A kid that never grew up. He has zero compassion for anyone but himself.
He’s merely a stain on the trunks of the SOTY trophy.

Carroll’s interview was one of the ‘Nine Club’ episodes I turned off pretty quickly. Nothing he said personally. Merely his voice. There’s no energy and breath support in his chest when speaking, with every sound out of his mouth resonating like a whiny teenager being confronted for their messy room…

Glad you guys are talking shit on Carroll because I happen to agree completely. Having grown up in the Bay Area and seen him around for years he was always a dick. His brother wasn’t much better, must run in the family.
